Solare BOM is a 12 month program by Pat Syta and Mimi Hollenbaugh of Bound To Be Quilting Finished size of Solare: 99" x 99" The first month, January 2023, we will meet on the 4th Saturday. Beginning in February, we will meet on the 3rd Saturday.

Cost: $ 350.00
This class will introduce piecing and quilting by machine using the rotary cutter. Students will learn tips and tricks from choosing fabrics to piecing to make their quilting journey a successful one. Students should be comfortable with their sewing machine before class starts. This class will meet the 2nd and 4th Thursdays for 8 sessions.

The goal of this class is to build on skills learned in the Beginning Quilting 1 class, introduce new techniques, and empower students to try more sophisticated projects. Although this class is designed to build on the techniques taught in the beginning class, it's suitable for anyone comfortable with a rotary cutter and a 1/4 inch seam. This class will meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays for 5 sessions.

Do you need something to get you up in the morning or add bounce to your day? We think Creative Traditions' Breakfast Club will give you a great start to your day. The first Saturday of odd months (March, May, July, September, November, January) we will offer a breakfast treat and coffee or tea, along with a quilter's "Breakfast" that includes a "Fabric Cinnamon Roll", and a quilt recipe (pattern). Each "Cinnamon Roll" consists of 2 1/2" pre-cut strips from a gorgeous collection of fabrics. The patterns are designed for your dining (quilting) pleasure. Just bring in your sewing tools and sewing machine, and we will provide the rest!!

Knitted Knockers are special handmade breast prosthesis for women who have undergone mastectomies or other procedures to the breast. Knitted Knockers are soft, comfortable, beautiful and when placed in a regular bra they take the shape and feel of a real breast. Our special volunteer knitters provide these FREE to those requesting them. The Knitted Knockers group at Creative Traditions seeks to meet the needs of those in our community and surrounding area. If you knit, crochet, want to stuff or just want to be part of an awesome program and spread the word, join us the 3rd Thursday of each month!

Local Quilt Shop Day is a worldwide event designed to raise awareness of the importance of independent quilt shops to the local economy. Sponsored by the FabShop Network and it's quilt shop members, it is a day for consumers and retailers to celebrate the creative pursuits of quilters, sewists, fabric enthusiasts, and crafters everywhere and to support the local quilt shops that make it all possible. Join us for fun and specials all day!

Sew Caring is a group led by Julie and is focused on projects for non-profits. Projects and organizations change but help is always needed and welcomed. Come when you can, stay as long as you like!
