Create a designer silicone oven mitt with your favorite fabrics. Make an oven mitt approximately 13in x 7.5in. Silicone overlay is 100% food grade silicone and heat resistant up to 450 degrees. Just add 2 fat quarters of fabric and cotton batting. A great addition for your picnic cooking and summer grilling supplies.

Knitted Knockers
Knitted Knockers are special handmade breast prosthesis for women who have undergone mastectomies or other procedures to the breast. Knitted Knockers are soft, comfortable, beautiful and when placed in a regular bra they take the shape and feel of a real breast. Our special volunteer knitters provide these FREE to those requesting them. The Knitted Knockers group at Creative Traditions seeks to meet the needs of those in our community and surrounding area. If you knit, crochet, want to stuff or just want to be part of an awesome program and spread the word, join us the 3rd Thursday of each month!

Retreat attendees may choose to take Andrew’s class and create Hero’s Comfort for themselves, or make a Quilt of Valor (QOV) to donate using his exclusive pattern. Prefer to work at your own pace? You’re also welcome to bring a UFO (unfinished object) and use the weekend to finally finish what you started. Whether you come to learn, serve, finish, or simply sew alongside like-minded makers, this retreat is designed to inspire purpose in every stitch.
