Sew Caring
Do you know what Sew Caring is all about? Is it something you want to be part of? Our world is challenging right now but we don't have to let it get us down. Here's what we do at Sew Caring and why we do it...
Caring means: to feel concern, attach an importance to; feel affection, to do something; to provide for the needs of.
Sew Caring does that by hearing of or seeing a need, feeling the concern and importance of the need and using our gifts and talents to provide for the need. While "giving" is just the transfer of possession, "Caring" is that and so much more!
And so began...Sew Caring!
We have seen the needs of our friends and neighbors who live alone, are away from family and friends, who are going through some difficult times or events, or are celebrating a new milestone in life. We don't just transfer the possession of something, we see the needs, feel the concern for them, know the importance of meeting those needs, and fulfill those needs by using our hands and hearts.
Whether it's a simple pillowcase to add to a peaceful slumber, or a placemat to make their mealtime brighter, or a bag to carry necessities like diapers or books or oxygen, or a quilt to comfort them during challenging times, our goal is to share from our hearts through the workmanship of our hands.
If you know of a need, see a need, hear of a need, let us know. If you want to be part of this special group, please join us! Call us at 970.854.3699.
